Relief SACCO was formed on 21st January 1993 by a group of staff from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The society’s main aim is to promote development of its members. It achieves this by affording members an opportunity to accumulate their savings. This creates a source of funds from which loans can be made to them exclusively for development and productive purposes at fair and reasonable interest rates.
Relief SACCO currently has 465 members and KES 423 million in member deposits.
