Washa SACCO Ltd. was established and registered on January 8, 1981. The society has come a long way from a handful of members to over three thousand (3000) members drawn from different Aga Khan institutions and business owners within Mombasa. 

The society’s main objective has remained to provide members with an opportunity to save funds and obtain loans for provident and productive purposes. Over the years, the SACCO has diversified its activities and services in its endeavor to provide and satisfy its members.

Washa SACCO is a SASRA-licensed deposit-taking SACCO.
To increase its membership, Washa SACCO opened the common bond, and now any member within or without the Aga Khan institutions is allowed to join and enjoy our diversified products, which include both savings and credit products.
