The men’s fellowship at CITAM Karen (NPC South at the time) decided to form a Chama to boost their financial position; this Chama grew and was named NPC South SA on February 20, 2003. This was later rebranded as La Nyavu Sacco, which later revolutionised into Charismata SACCO. The main aim is to promote the welfare of members of the CITAM business community who do not have access to cheap credit facilities.
Its offices are currently based at Christ's Answer Ministries (CITAM) Valley Road compound in Nairobi, Kenya. Charismata SACCO is a community-based SACCO drawing its membership from Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), their family members, and members of a church or Christian organisation.
