Embracing the spirit of togetherness, way back 2001 a team of staff from Kenya Women Finance Trust (currently Kenya Women Microfinance Bank) conceived the idea  and formed a SACCO that would enable them advance their personal development agenda as a team.  

In compliance with the SACCO Societies Act No. 14 2008, the SACCO is currently regulated as a non-deposit taking SACCO with effect from July 2021 thus fall under the supervision of SASRA .
The SACCO continues to draw its membership countrywide from Kenya Women Holding and Kenya Women Microfinance Bank and its subsidiaries.
