In Summary

KICO SACCO was founded way back in 1997 as an in-house SACCO for staff members of Kirundi and Co. Advocates hence the name KICO Staff SACCO. Later, the SACCO opened its doors to accommodate non-staff members but restricted this to referrals by existing members only. In 2015, the SACCO changed its name to KICO Co-operative Society Ltd and opened its doors further to members from various sectors.

In 2021, the SACCO was registered by SASRA and operates within parameters laid by the regulator.
