SULUHU Savings & Credit Cooperative Society is a savings and credit cooperative society that was registered under the Ministry of Cooperative Development and Marketing in 1995 under the name Mwingi Mwalimu SACCO Society.
The original members were teachers. In its 25th AGM, the members resolved to rebrand as the SULUHU SACCO society and opened a common bond for everyone to be eligible to join as members.
The society draws its core membership from primary and secondary school teachers, TSC staff, KNUT, BBF staff, civil service, NGOs, private employees, all government and county staff, and business people.
The society is regulated as a deposit-taking SACCO by the SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) under the SACCO Societies Act 2008.
The society operates from its head office in Mwingi town, with a service desk in Kyuso town.
