In Summary

Capital SACCO was started in 1972 as a section of the giant Meru Famer’s Co-operative Union LTD. It served members of the affiliated dairy and coffee societies. In 2005, it was split from the union and became a separate entity known as Meru Famers SACCO. 
In 2012, it rebranded again as Capital SACCO to bring together all the entrepreneurs, salaried customers, institutions, youth, and children from all parts of the country. This gave the SACCO a national outlook, and since then, it has been serving all these clients effectively.
