Jumuisha Sacco Society Ltd formerly Bondo teachers Sacco Society was registered on 29th November 1999 under the Co-operative Societies act of the Laws of Kenya, with 13 pioneer members who took the bold step. The Society is based in Bondo town. The objectives of the society were to enable members save and borrow wisely depending on the member's needs and ability to repay.

The society’s membership is largely drawn from the employees of the teacher’s service commission and the society’s employees besides those members who have changed from the common bond and employees of organizations operating or networking with the society such as secondary schools within Siaya County.

The main objective of the society is to facilitate savings and at the same time give loans to the members.
